Halldór Már Stefánsson
Born in Reykjavik, Iceland, he began his guitar studies with Professor Örn Viðar Erlendsson at the Akureyri Conservatory. In 1986 he moved to Barcelona to study guitar at the Escola de Arts Musicals Luthier with professors Arnaldur Arnarson and Alex Garrobé. He has taken part in international courses with teachers such as David Russell, Hopkinson Smith, Manuel Barrueco, José Tomás. He has performed concerts in Iceland and Spain as a soloist and is a member of the Mosaic Quartet.
