amb les mans·con las manos·with one's hands
a verse for my children
music: Eduard Rodés

For Edu, and Clara, my children, and for all of those of us who have had to put the children to bed: first a story and later, a lullaby. At the end two harmonics, a symbol of the equilibrium that we expect of them.

Eduard Rodés
Born in Barcelona, he began his guitar studies with maestro Vivancos, and later, with Juan Francisco Garrido. After an extended period away from music, in 2001 he resumed his work on the guitar with Hálldor Már Stefánsson, at the “Casa Sors” center in Barcelona, and under the tutelage of Fernando Alonso. In 2002 the creative period during which the pieces of “with one’s own hands” were born began.
